Equipping for the Ascent

Our philosophy is zero-compromise readiness. While our vanguard team manages basecamps, nutrition, and heavy logistics, your personal kit determines your resilience on the mountain.

High-end trekking gear laid out meticulously

Technical Apparel & Footwear

The microclimates of Rinjani demand a layering system that transitions seamlessly from humid jungle approaches to freezing summit winds.

The Critical Layer

Core Equipment

While we carry the expedition infrastructure, your personal operational gear must be reliable, lightweight, and accessible.

backpack

Daypack (20-40L)

Fitted with a rain cover. Must comfortably hold your water, layers, and personal items for the day's trek.

Headlamp System

Minimum 300 lumens required for the alpine start. Bring extra batteries; cold degrades battery life rapidly.

Hydration Matrix

A 2-3L hydration bladder plus a 1L Nalgene for camp. Hydration is the primary defense against altitude sickness.

Trekking Poles

Essential for the descent. The loose volcanic scree requires four points of contact to protect your knees.

Expedition Safety

Health & Medical Protocols

Ascending to nearly 4,000 meters requires physiological respect. Our medical protocols are designed to preempt complications before they arise.

All guests must submit a medical clearance form 30 days prior to ascent. In the event of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness), our guides are equipped with supplemental oxygen and coordinate direct helicopter evacuation protocols.
